Speaker Series Information
Alma offers a speaker series at least once per month on Wednesday evenings. We host speakers on a variety of health and wellness topics of interest to our clientele. The objective of the speaker series is (1) to build community with clients and the neighborhood (2) to educate our community on a variety of health and wellness topics (3) to grow our client base by introducing clients of other likeminded business to our spa (4) to partner with like-minded businesses/speakers to help them grow their client base.
 
Details:
  • Talks take place on Wednesday evenings at 7:30.
  • The talk should be completed, including questions, within an hour.
  • The cost to attendees is $10 and then they receive at least $10 in product/services. So essentially it is free, but this helps them feel like they have committed to coming and allows us to market new/different services and products. 
Speaker Requirements:
  • We ask that you are working in your chosen topic/field on a full-time basis.
  • Speakers offer a one-hour complimentary presentation.
  • Provide a concise description of your topic to be used in marketing materials online and within the spa.
  • Provide samples of product if applicable or preferred pricing for Alma attendees on your services.
  • Write a blog post for the Alma Blog related to the topic prior to the date of the event.
  • Market this to your following via Twitter, Facebook, your website, blog, as applicable.
  • Be engaging and have fun! 
What we’ll provide:
  • Space & a person to oversee the event
  • Tea, water, and organic wine
  • We’ll advertise on our website, Facebook, Twitter, and in store.
  • We’ll offer your clients a discount at Alma for the month of the talk. 
How to get started:
Contact jenn@almanaturalspa.com with your general topic idea.  If selected:
  • Select a date in the month of your talk.
  • Send a concise (approximately 1 paragraph), informative, and interesting description of the talk as well as your bio, and your contact information (Facebook, Twitter, website, email) by the 30th of the month prior to your talk.
  • Send your blog post at least one week prior to your talk.
